Amy Smart

Amy Smart was an American model and actress. Her birthplace and childhood was in California, USA, she first began modeling in Italy. In 1996 she made her first appearance as an actress in the TV film titled 'Her Costly Affair.' After that, she was a star in a small role in the film "Starship Troopers," she fought hard. The transition between acting and modeling because models aren't typically considered competent actors and generally given small, insignificant role. Yet somehow, Amy decided to stay the course and stepped into bigger roles in the end, beginning with the series 'The 70's' and the film 'Varsity Blues'. The 2005 film, a romantic comedy "Just Friends" starring Ryan Reynolds gave her her first lead role. Amy finally got the recognition she'd been waiting for more than 10 years. Amy continued to make major films, such as the series 'Crank' starring Jason Statham and the series "Shameless," where she played a beloved characters.
