Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira, born in Campinas Sao Paulo on May 26 in 1978. She's a well-known actor in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) as well as A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira became a part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March of 2020. She is a current analyst and team leader for GI-TOC collaboration with multilateral partners. Her research at the GI-TOC concentrates on the assassination of people, disappearances and other types of violence in the context of illicit economies. The research area she is interested in is the effect of organized criminality on law, policy and laws that pertain to human rights. Ana Paula received an LL.M.cum the laude award with a major in International Law, from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. She also holds an LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations from Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula is a graduate from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with a magnacum laude degree in Legal Sciences as well as Social Sciences. She is a licensed lawyer and has worked in a law firm focusing on public law litigation for over four years. She has also held assisting roles with non-governmental organizations that are based within Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
