LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30 1984) was an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James, he's widely regarded to be the greatest player of all-time and often compared Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketball player of all time. James has been the recipient of four NBA Championships as well as the four NBA MVP Awards as well as the four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He is also the proud owner of two Olympic Gold medals. James is the NBA All-Star who has most points in playoffs, the second-highest point total, and the seventh highest career assist total. James has 18 NBA All-Stars, 18 All NBA Teams and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. He was the 3rd player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of those were consecutive from the year 2011 until 2018. James was selected to be a member of the NHL75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became the first NBA player ever to score at least 10,000 points in a career. James played for St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio, where he lived his entire life. The national media praised James as a future NBA star. He was in the process of becoming a professional and selected with the top selection from the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft of 2003. When he was named the 2004 NBA Rookie Of The Year, he quickly established himself as an elite player within the NBA receiving the NBA's MVP Award both in 2009 and 2010. James was a free agency in 2010 after failing to earn championships in Cleveland. The decision to leave Cleveland for Miami Heat, announced on The Decision, a popular television show The Decision, is considered one of the controversial free-agent actions in sports history.
