Barone played in the fourth season Seinfeld episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham Chef who wanted Elaine Benes shoes. Then in the 90s, Barone made an appearance in the show Carol & Company alongside Carol Burnett. Barone had played the role of the husband of Carol Willick Ross Geller in Friends' first ever appearance. She left the show as she was seeking an additional full-time job.
